When Will We Care Enough to End Abortion?

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

My heart is heavy today. The Lord has twice impressed on me that He is doing something new even though we don’t see it yet on earth. He assures me that a new day is coming.

Yet today, Virginia is going to change the laws so that abortions are easier to get. This lines the pockets of abortion providers and helps pro-choice politicians get reelected—because of the abortion-provider money behind the scenes. This is not the will of the people—there are far more pro-life Democrats than the news shows you, especially in outstate Virginia.

The Lord keeps reminding me that my work is about changing hearts and that sometimes letting things happen is necessary to get people’s attention.

Things will not change in our land until people are willing to cross the political aisle and peacefully protest.

We cannot solve the world’s social problems if we do not care about this very basic issue of life.

Things will not change until Christians are willing to get on their knees and confess their sexual sins, the very thing that results in women “having to” choose abortion. We Christians are guilty.

Second Chronicles 7:14 is clear. We need to confess and turn our faces to the Lord—not with our hands out asking for things but by being women and men after God’s own heart.

What’s more important to you in the morning—coffee or God?

Most of us aren’t willing to get on our knees. Most of us aren’t willing to recognize that Christians are:

  • guilty of abortion
  • guilty of sex outside of marriage
  • guilty of abusing women or allowing the abuse of women (#metoo)
  • guilty of allowing the ungodly sex education that’s prevailant in our schools…

I could go on and on.

At some point, we need to recognize that we are not just losing millions of babies but also millions of women who are walking around life depressed or numb—the walking dead—resulting in not solving our societal problems because they just don’t care about life.

And that’s just the mothers of our dead babies. What about the fathers? Grandmothers? The grandfathers? The friends? for abortion is not just the woman’s issue, and she is not the only one advocating for abortion.

Women who are numb to the world cannot change the world for the better.

And they will just keep looking for love in all the wrong places until they trust God’s love and are healed.

They should see God’s love first through us!

We are supposed to be the light of the world. God’s love must shine through us to everyone who disagrees with us on the abortion issue and most especially to the women who have the wrong impression that taking away abortion rights takes away women’s rights.

Being pro-life is pro-woman! We need to make that clear to everyone. Show your agape love today to someone who disagrees with you.
