Pray for Your Country Like Daniel Prayed for the Israelites

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

During this pandemic, I am writing. Before I write book 2 in the Faces of Abortion Series, I feel compelled to turn the Worship to End Abortion prayer booklet into a book, providing the teachings that explain why we should pray in this way.

Day 17 in the 40 daily prayers is “Pray for Your Country,” in whichever country you live. I’m including my draft of that chapter below because it feels so appropriate that we pray like Daniel right now during the pandemic.

Taken

Screams and yelling were heard as foreign soldiers drove advisors, legislators, and royalty of every age to the leader of the raid, King Nebuchadnezzar. He commanded and the soldiers obeyed. The captives were herded north and then followed the Euphrates river down to Babylon. It was a long walk, perhaps two months’ time.

The Babylonian roads were littered with people. The palace was a marvel to see. A beautiful garden seemed to hang on the tier. Oh, but to rest in that splendor!

The captives were given water while the king barked orders. His words were unfamiliar, but it was clear that he ordered Ashpenaz to choose from among the men—royalty, good-looking young men who showed knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Among those chosen were Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, and Daniel.

Before the raid, the young men had their whole lives ahead of them. They had studied the scriptures, their history, and how to govern. They were destined to advise the King of Judah and administrate under his leadership. Until the raid, that was King Jehoiakim.

The chosen young men quickly learned the language and literature of their captors. King Nebuchadnezzar sent food and wine from his own table and commanded that after three years, they would serve him.

Eating the king’s food and adding to their scholarly endeavors was better than the exile for most of their fellow Judeans, but they missed their families, the holy city of Jerusalem, and the beauty of Solomon’s temple.

And they were given new names, names that honored the foreign god Bel (Baal). No longer Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah but instead Shadrach, Mesach, and Abednigo. Daniel was renamed Belteshazzar—from “God is my judge” to “Bel’s treasurer.” (Daniel 1:1-7)

The Daniel Diet

Daniel knew that the king’s food was unclean according to the Law of Moses, and he did not want to dishonor God. Daniel approached Ashpenaz, asking permission to eat food that allowed him to keep his promise to God.

“Daniel, you are my favorite, but do not ask this of me. I cannot lose favor with the king. He assigned your food. Why should he see you weaker than others your age. It is my life that I may lose.”

“Please test my friends and me for ten days. Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare us with the young men who eat the king’s food. See how we look. After that, treat us according to what you see.”

The chief official agreed. After 10 days, he was surprised. Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, and Daniel looked healthier than the men who ate the royal food. So from that time on, they ate vegetables and water to honor God.

God gave the four young men knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and wisdom. To Daniel, He also gave understanding of visions and dreams.

At the end of the three years, Ashpenaz presented all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar, but he was most impressed by Hananiah, Mishael, Azariah, and Daniel, so he chose them to serve him.

In every matter, the king found the four men to have understanding and wisdom ten times greater than all the Babylonian magicians and astrologers. (Daniel 1:8-20)

Daniel served the king while remaining righteous in the sight of the Lord. He interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams and served him well.

After the king died, King Belshazzar ruled for a short time before the Persians conquered the Babylonians.

Daniel’s Righteousness

By this time, Daniel was over 80 years old. King Darius, the Persian, ruled and quickly observed the wisdom of Daniel, making him one of the three top administrators. Because of his extraordinary spirit, Daniel became even more distinguished, so King Darius planned to put him above all, only second to the king himself.

The administrators and those who reported to them were jealous and began looking for evidence that Daniel was corrupt but to no avail. They said, “We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him with regard to the law of his God.”

They devised a new plan and approached King Darius, saying:

“King Darius, live forever! All the commissioners of the kingdom, the prefects and the satraps, the high officials and the governors have consulted together that the king should establish a statute and enforce an injunction that anyone who makes a petition to any god or man besides you, O king, for thirty days, shall be cast into the lions’ den. Now, O king, establish the injunction and sign the document so that it may not be changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be revoked.” (Daniel 6:6-8 NASB)

Their appeal to the king’s pride succeeded, and King Darius signed the injunction.

Daniel, knowing the document was signed, entered the roof chamber of his house and knelt before the west windows, which were open toward Jerusalem, three times a day, praying and giving thanks before God just as he had done before. He was easily caught. (Daniel 6:1-11)

The administrators and those who reported to them approached the king again.

“Did you not sign an injunction that any man who makes a petition to any god or man besides you, O king, for thirty days, is to be cast into the lions’ den?”

The king replied, “The statement is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be revoked.”

Then they answered and spoke before the king, “Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or to the injunction which you signed, but keeps making his petition three times a day.”

Then, as soon as the king heard this statement, he was deeply distressed and set his mind on delivering Daniel; and even until sunset he kept exerting himself to rescue him. Then these men came by agreement to the king and said to the king, “Recognize, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians that no injunction or statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

Then the king gave orders, and (80+ year old) Daniel was brought in and cast into the lions’ den. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Your God whom you constantly serve will Himself deliver you.”

A stone was brought and laid over the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the signet rings of his nobles, so that nothing would be changed in regard to Daniel.

Then the king went off to his palace and spent the night fasting, and no entertainment was brought before him; and his sleep fled from him.

Then the king arose at dawn, at the break of day, and went in haste to the lions’ den. When he had come near the den to Daniel, he cried out with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you constantly serve, been able to deliver you from the lions?”

Then Daniel spoke to the king, “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths and they have not harmed me, inasmuch as I was found innocent before Him; and also toward you, O king, I have committed no crime.”

Then the king was very pleased and gave orders for Daniel to be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den and no injury whatever was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

The king then gave orders, and they brought those men who had maliciously accused Daniel, and they cast them, their children and their wives into the lions’ den; and they had not reached the bottom of the den before the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

Then Darius the king wrote to all the peoples, nations, and men of every language who were living in all the land:

“May your peace abound! I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel.

“For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion will be forever. He delivers and rescues and performs signs and wonders In heaven and on earth, Who has also delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

So this Daniel enjoyed success in the reign of Darius and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian. (Daniel 6:12-28 NASB)

Daniel was over 80 years old when he was put in the lions’ den, yet the Lord sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths because Daniel was found innocent in God’s eyes. 80 years to sin and confess, sin and confess, and he had nothing left to confess, no one left to forgive—he was innocent.

Identifying with the People

Yet around the same time, Daniel fasted in sackcloth and ashes praying, “We have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly, rebelled, turned aside from Your ordinances, and have not listened to Your prophets” (Daniel 9:5-6) and “Open shame belongs to us” (Daniel 9:8).

Daniel was clearly a righteous man, so innocent that not one scratch from a lion was found on him (Daniel 6:23), yet he did not pray saying “the people have sinned” nor “open shame belong to them.”

Instead, he identified himself with his people as he confessed their sins and petitioned the Lord to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, not for any merits of his or the people’s but because of God’s great compassion (Daniel 9:18).

Let us be like Daniel: innocent yet identifying with our country full of people who have sinned.

Suggested Prayer

The following prayer is from Daniel 9:4-19 but adapted to today’s abortion pandemic.

Lord, You are my great and awesome God. You keep Your covenant of love with those who love You and choose Your ways.

Lord, we have sinned and done wrong.
We have been wicked and have rebelled;
we have turned away from Your ways.
We have not listened to You or those who speak in Your name.

Lord, You are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of our country and Christians both near and far in all the countries where you have scattered us. We, our political leaders, and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you through extra-marital sex, unfair treatment of those caught in adultery, and abortion.

Lord our God, You are merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against You. We have not obeyed You or kept Your ways of purity before, during, and after marriage between one man and one woman “until death do us part.” We have turned away, refusing to choose You.

Therefore, the consequences have poured out on us because we have sinned against You. Consequences have come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to Your truth. You are righteous in everything You do, yet we have not obeyed You.

Lord our God, who broke us free with a mighty hand and who made for Yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned. We have done wrong.

Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away Your anger and Your wrath from us. Our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors have made Christians an object of scorn to all those around us.

Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of Your servants. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate people. Give ear, our God, and hear; open Your eyes and see the desolation of our country. We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.

Lord, listen!
Lord, forgive!
Lord, hear and act!
For Your sake, my God, do not delay, because your people bear Your Name.

Pray for Post-Abortive Women & Men

Dear Christian Sisters & Brothers,

This Sunday is Sanctity of Life Sunday. I praise the pastors who are brave enough to address abortion from the pulpit, and I’m looking forward to hearing all the recordings of what they say!

Will Everyone Show Up?

But most post-abortive women won’t be there.

Women who have not yet healed from their abortions may avoid church on Sunday.

Many post-abortive women won’t go to church at all because they don’t think they are worthy of God’s love.

Many post-abortive women in and out of The Church think abortion is the unforgivable sin.

We need to pray for these women!

Post-Abortive Men, Too

…and for the men who pressured, supported, or coerced women to have abortions.

Often, men don’t realize that their souls are suffering because of their role in abortion, so let’s pray that sermons preached this Sunday open their hearts to the Holy Spirit’s leading.

Let’s Pray & Worship for the End of Abortion

Worship to End Abortion: 40 Daily Prayers
This 30-page booklet will guide you through prayer and worship to end abortion. An Amazon exclusive.

Let’s pray that post-abortive women everywhere trust the agape love of the Lord to forgive them of all of their sins so that they can live close to the Lord in complete righteousness for the rest of their days here on earth (e.g., no more abortions or extramarital sex) as well as for eternity.

Friends, there are not enough people from this generation going to heaven!

We need to do our part in praying and worshiping for:

  • the end of abortion
  • complete healing for all post-abortive women and men (even the angry ones)
  • our churches to be welcoming to the millions of women and men who have been hurt by abortion

That’s what the Great Commission looks like!

Note to Post-Abortive Women & Men

If you have had an abortion, be kind to yourself as you follow God’s leading to complete healing.

Healing is a process. Participating in a post-abortion healing class is part of the process.

Contact your local pregnancy resource center to get enrolled. This time of year, they get a lot of calls, so they are likely starting a new class soon. Don’t hesitate. You’re worth it!

New Year’s Resolution for Life

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Last year on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade—January 22, 2019—New York announced its late-term abortion law. They lit up their city in pink. We weren’t ready. Will we be ready for what happens this year?

Last year, everyone was surprised that any state would allow abortion right up to birth, but what they didn’t realize is that New York was not the first to make late-term abortion legal.

Then thanks to Virginia Governor Northam, it became very clear that abortion is murder. (Listen starting at minute 38 to WTOP’s Ask the Governor with Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam – Jan. 30, 2019.) It no longer matters whether the baby is in the womb or birthed. If the baby is unwanted, then it’s okay to murder her.

With that revelation, the undecided suddenly started paying attention to the debate.

We have spent this last year debating, arguing, and fighting about whether abortion should be legal.

Many states have liberalized their abortion laws.
Many states have made their abortion laws more conservative.

Are We Ready for the New Year & Sanctity of Life Month?

Once again, Sanctity of Life Month is upon us. Are we ready? Do we know how to talk…

  • to those who have not yet decided whether they are pro-life or pro-choice?
  • about the value of life while being kind?
    (speaking the truth in love!)
  • about the value of life without talking politics?

Skip Politics

As soon as we talk about abortion, people put us into a political conversation, assuming that we are all Republicans.

We are so divided politically. And some people think Republicans are heartless. Some people think we must get all of our social programs in order before we can end the legalization of abortion and assume that all Republicans are against social programs.

I hate politics because my elected officials don’t represent me. They represent their platform and the money that paid their way into office. I am not a Republican. I am not a Democrat. I refuse to choose any political party, but I always vote pro-life because if we don’t value life in the womb then we aren’t going to value the lives of those who need social programs (and my siblings are two of them—read ReTested for that story).

But I do support the Democrats for Life of America because I believe they are the key to changing laws. But they need more money than the Planned Parenthood lobbyists who pay for late-term abortion legislation.

Make Disciples

We must remember that the goal is not to convert people to a political party. The goal is to make disciples, which includes teaching Christ’s ways (Matthew 28:19-20). When people love Christ, they value life. When they value life, our politics will change.

Christians First

We must start with Christians. As many as 36% of abortions are by women who go to church at least once per month (“Abortion and the Church” by Care Net). It doesn’t matter which denomination. That number needs to be zero. We’re arrogant if we think God will rescue our country when we Christians don’t value life.

Teaching Christ’s Ways

We must stop pointing fingers and start teaching.

  • Can you point to more than Psalm 139?
  • Can you explain that Jesus was against abortion?
  • Can you point to verses in the New Testament?
  • Can you explain what abortion does spiritually to women and men who choose it?
  • Do you teach men (of every generation) to support and parent their children?
  • Are you talking to men about their responsibilities in this battle?
  • Are you praying for the end of sex trafficking?
  • Are you teaching men and women to stay away from porn?
  • Are you teaching the sanctity of sex to your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and Sunday School students?
  • Is your heart prepared?
  • Are your prayers effective?

What is the Lord asking you to do in this battle for life?

Your New Year’s Resolution

Let me suggest two things:

  1. Make prayer and Worship to End Abortion your New Year’s resolution. The shop-amazonWorship to End Abortion: 40 Daily Prayers booklet provides you with sample prayers.Join the MybodyMyworship Group on Facebook to learn, pray, and worship together starting this Friday at 8:30 pm ET.

Not on Facebook? Tell me in the comments below.

  2. Send me your questions about how to respond to what people say. I’ll use your questions and my recommended responses as blog posts, and then we can all support each other with suggestions in the comments.

Thank you for supporting life for defenseless babies and for the lost women and men who are scared, whose hearts are veiled, who are blind to the evil one and his schemes.

In Christ,

Cheryl

Day 16: Pray Against Hollywood’s Pressure

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Although I will not pit one political party over another, I will advocate for life in the political arena.

My book is not political. Read the one-and-a-half page introduction for yourself.

Nevertheless, we need to pray for pro-life legislation. Hollywood celebrities are threatening to boycott the state of Georgia if Gov Brian Kemp signs the House Bill 481, The Living Infants Fairness and Equality (L.I.F.E.) Act.

If you didn’t know already, many production companies are located and shoot in Georgia. We used to live in one of those towns, Senoia, which boasts such lovely projects as The Walking Dead and “Fried Green Tomatoes.”

When we moved from there, another production company was moving into the nearby town of Fayetteville. And I’m sure there are other companies as well.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift to you the state of Georgia. We praise You that Georgia’s heartbeat bill is ready for Gov. Brian Kemp to sign.

Thank You for loving life. Thank You for loving women so much that You do not want the pain of abortion for them. Lord, shield women in the state of Georgia from making the same mistake that I did.

Lord, thank You for giving Gov. Kemp the courage to love You more than he fears loss of revenue.

May You be glorified in the name of Jesus.

Amen!

In Christ,

Cheryl

Grandmothers: 40 Days of Prayer Day 14

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Let us continue to pray for the influencers. Today, let us concentrate on the Grandmothers—the mothers of the women who have a crisis pregnancy—are the #3 influence on a woman’s “choice.”

Father, Abba,

We cry out to You for all mothers, who have a great privilege and responsibility to raise Godly children.

We beg of You to pour out Your blessings on women, that they would feel Your love and attribute it to You. That they would praise Your name and trust in You.

The evil one is crafty. He’s a liar. He has convinced women that You and Your Son Jesus are against women when in fact Your Bible shows that Jesus treated women with love and care far over an above societal expectations.

Today, Christianity reveres women far more than other “religions.” I put “religions” in quotes because for me Christianity is not about the rules of religion but instead of the loving relationship I have with Christ.

I praise You, Lord that You love us so much that You want us to be close to You, to choose to be close to You. Open our hearts, Lord, to Your great love.

Lord, the fact that grandmothers, the mothers of women in a crisis pregnancy, support and even pressure their daughters to abort just shows how pervasive the lie of Roe v Wade is.

Everyone who turns 64 this year has known Roe v Wade their entire adult lives. For those raised in New York, Hawaii, Alaska, and Washington, they have known legalized abortion even longer.

I am so sad to say that when the pro-choice movement says that abortion is normal, they are not far from the truth. Because abortion is pervasive, many believe it is normal. With 25% of our women having an abortion by age 45, it feels normal.

But there is nothing normal about killing life inside of us.

Lord, I plead for not just those in their 20s who are the age group most likely to abort, but for all ages because we all need to re-learn what is truth.

Lord, I plead that You would embolden Christian women to mentor and teach all generations that Your love is meant for all people, not just men; that “being caught” pregnant is not a punishment from You but a blessing from You; that You are for women, not against them.

And, Father, teach us to forgive. Teach us to forgive men for not being responsible. Teach us to forgive men for all that we blame on them. Heal our bitterness and return oneness to our relationships.

In Jesus’ Name,

Cheryl

Doctors: 40 Days of Prayer Day 13

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Yesterday, Heidi led us in prayer for fathers, who are the number one influence on a woman’s “choice.”

Today, I am feeling inspired by Heidi to pray for doctors, who are the number two influence on a woman’s “choice.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

Hallowed be Your name. Lord, I am sorry that we do not rejoice in Your name often enough. I apologize that we use Your name in vain far more than we revere it. May we feel convicted when we say “Oh my God” and “Gosh” and “Jeez.” May we instead praise You in truth and love.

Father, we mourn over the tide of death over the medical profession. We mourn that doctors are recommending abortion rather than carrying to term.

We mourn that doctors are now even delaying decisions to save newborns until after they are born alive. I never thought I would hear a politician nor a doctor advocate for infanticide. I was certain that the Virginia Governor didn’t even realize what he said, but he knew exactly what he said—and he’s still in office.

I never thought this day would come. But I see now that You are revealing hearts. You are making it clear what abortion is. You are calling people to the truth, and more people are claiming to be pro-life. We praise You for revealing hearts and calling people back to You.

Even with more pro-life people in the United States, we continue to hear about medical professionals who do not do all in their power to support life of premature babies. And for that, we mourn.

Lord, we repent for our worship of money over You (Matt 6:24). We repent for putting fear of being sued over our trust in You (1 John 4:18). We repent for believing the lies of the Roe v Wade era rather than believing what we have learned in biology class and Sunday School.

Lord, wash away this tide of death and bring in a new era of life. Take away the old and replace it with the new (2 Cor 5:17-19). Bring pro-death doctors to repentance and wash them clean as snow (Psalm 51).

In Jesus’ powerful name,
Amen

In Christ,

Cheryl

First Do No Harm: Day 11 of 40 Days of Prayer

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Let us pray with Heidi that we become a culture that first does no harm.

Heavenly Father,

I am shaken by the things I see and hear, by the violence of the abortion procedure described by Dr. Anthony Levatino, a former abortionist, before Congress yesterday; by the video of the current abortionist calmly sifting through a bloody pan of tiny dismembered legs and arms, and a sweet little face, crushed horribly out of shape, while crooning about the life he has given back to the mother.

I am shaken by Medical professionals who have vowed to “first do no harm,” and yet wreak destruction and death every day; by mothers who deny their own children; by fathers who deny responsibility; by a legal culture that respects the life of unborn animals yet denies the life of unborn human beings; by a social culture that shouts “RIGHTS,” and “CHOICE,” and denies any and every RESPONSIBILITY.

I am shaken by the soothing rhetoric of for-profit entities who spread lies to assure women their procedure is safe and painless and will give them back their freedom–as long as they can front the money.

I am shaken by our nation of strong Christians who remain silent on this, the most important life and death emergency in our nation’s history. Where are we?

Lord God, Thank You for being a true father who loves without conditions, who protects with no strings attached, who fights for continued relationship with his children.

Thank You for valuing our lives and nourishing our growth and always giving us good gifts.

Bring this kind of reality to our culture, Father, we pray! Bring goodness, rightness, and true LIFE to our cultural mindset.

Thank You for Your awesome example and for the hope that You fill us with. We know you hear us and our prayers move Your mighty heart.

We look forward to bringing You more glory and to seeing the end of this shocking horror of abortion in the United States. We implore You, Heavenly Father.

In Jesus Mighty Name we pray!
Amen

In Christ,

Cheryl

Toddlers & Sea Turtles: 40 Days of Prayer Day 10

Dear Christian Sisters and Brothers,

Let us continue to pray with Heidi for the end of abortion for we know that we are far more precious to God than even sea turtles.

Lord God,

It seems that the abuse of young children produces just about the most outrage our society can muster. It breaks our hearts and fills us with deep righteous anger to see toddlers and preschoolers being yelled at, yanked around, or neglected.

It is especially egregious because they have no escape, no recourse. Those who should be protecting them are the ones inflicting the damage and the children don’t have the resources or understanding to seek help.

So why is it that our hearts break for the toddlers who have no one protecting them, but not for the tiny babies?

Lord God, Almighty, we want them to live. We want them to be safe and warm–without trauma, or pain. We want them ALL to live, healthy, sick, male, female, from rape and incest. Every life is created by You and created in Your image, which means it is a life worth living.

The horrifying videos and dispassionate explanations of the abortion procedure that I’ve seen are so horrific and violent that there aren’t words to encompass it. We treat our dogs better. We pass laws to protect turtle eggs.

How long, Oh Lord, will you stay your hand of judgement? How many more silenced screams and how many more dismembered babies tossed out with the garbage? We see it, and we are crumbling with the guilt of it.

Bring redemption and healing and a swift end to this ferocious beast that devours our children. We cannot bear it any longer.

Father, we pray this in Christ’s most Powerful Name,
Amen

In Christ,

Cheryl

40 Days of Prayer Day 9

Dear Christian Sisters,

Let us continue to pray with my friend Heidi for the end of legalized abortion here in the United States.

Heavenly Father,

We continue to be shocked by the brazen actions of Virginia lawmakers who submitted a bill allowing abortion up to the moment of birth for virtually any reason.

And by the words of the Virginia Governor who suggests that abortion AFTER birth is something to be discussed.

We praise you, Lord, for putting that bill to death for now, although with elections coming in November and several conservative seats up for grabs, we pray you’ll put that bill to death for good.

I remember the words of Joni Eareckson Tada:

“And gradually, though no one remembers exactly how it happened, the unthinkable becomes tolerable. And then acceptable. And then legal. And then applaudable.”

We have fallen for it and the conscience of an entire nation has become seared.

Lord, forgive us for sitting idly by! We repent of our inaction and beg you to ignite fire in us all. Raise us up together in a cloud of unstoppable righteous anger and let our voice be thunderous across the land.

This is not political. All of humanity is at stake, for the agenda doesn’t stop. First they sold us the “viability” bill of goods. Then they preached, “safe, legal, and rare,” and we swallowed it.

Then it was a woman’s ‘right’ to choose, and now we don’t even blink as they murder babies about to be born–and celebrate their victory.

The next step is ALREADY here…delicate rhetoric about keeping a newborn comfortable while the ‘discussion’ takes place. The line has been left way behind and life now only has value where it is convenient.

AND LORD, WE BOUGHT IT ALL, keeping quiet because we don’t think we have a voice or we’re not into politics. Some of us don’t even vote.

We look to you, Father, for help on what to do next. Don’t let this die away but move mightily for the babies. Give us a voice that screams the truth and won’t back down, so that the gates of hell cannot prevail.

We know only YOU can make the deep, deep changes that our country needs, but we also know You use your people to do Your work. We stand at the ready, Lord Jesus. Here we are, send us!

We praise you for we are fearfully and wonderfully made!

ALL OF US

In Jesus’ powerful Name we pray!
Amen

In Christ,

Cheryl
