Dear Christian Sisters & Brothers,
This Sunday is Sanctity of Life Sunday. I praise the pastors who are brave enough to address abortion from the pulpit, and I’m looking forward to hearing all the recordings of what they say!
Will Everyone Show Up?
But most post-abortive women won’t be there.
Women who have not yet healed from their abortions may avoid church on Sunday.
Many post-abortive women won’t go to church at all because they don’t think they are worthy of God’s love.
Many post-abortive women in and out of The Church think abortion is the unforgivable sin.
We need to pray for these women!
Post-Abortive Men, Too
…and for the men who pressured, supported, or coerced women to have abortions.
Often, men don’t realize that their souls are suffering because of their role in abortion, so let’s pray that sermons preached this Sunday open their hearts to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Let’s Pray & Worship for the End of Abortion

Let’s pray that post-abortive women everywhere trust the agape love of the Lord to forgive them of all of their sins so that they can live close to the Lord in complete righteousness for the rest of their days here on earth (e.g., no more abortions or extramarital sex) as well as for eternity.
Friends, there are not enough people from this generation going to heaven!
We need to do our part in praying and worshiping for:
- the end of abortion
- complete healing for all post-abortive women and men (even the angry ones)
- our churches to be welcoming to the millions of women and men who have been hurt by abortion
That’s what the Great Commission looks like!
Note to Post-Abortive Women & Men
If you have had an abortion, be kind to yourself as you follow God’s leading to complete healing.
Healing is a process. Participating in a post-abortion healing class is part of the process.
Contact your local pregnancy resource center to get enrolled. This time of year, they get a lot of calls, so they are likely starting a new class soon. Don’t hesitate. You’re worth it!
